(06-30-2019) The biggest update in Republic of Domolas so far

Another update is here, and it is the biggest update in Republic of Domolas so far! Here is the new subway map for this update:

According to current plans, this subway map will be valid for an unusual length of 6 weeks, since no railway system updates are scheduled for the next 2 versions.

First, it has been almost 2 months since Line 1 was extended the last time, and it has been extended again! The extension is only 1 station long, but the new terminal station, Lerralia, uses platform gates, which are now fixed! However, I would not show you any pictures of the extension because I want you to explore it on your own.

Speaking of platform gates, the platform gates at Sedribwyn Plateau are also fixed! However, when one thing gets fixed, another won't work. Upon conversion to 1.14.3, the villager vendors no longer work.

Line 2 had also been extended 2 km south to Astelikin, which almost doubled the line's length. The extension passes through the Redwood Taiga biome in the south, and uses a datapack that makes minecarts go fast! However, the datapack will be replaced in the next update. Here is a photo of the extension:

This image looks weird because it was combined from 4 individual Mineways screenshots, since I cannot take a picture of the whole extension.

There also has been a third subway line extension, and this one is of Domolas Branch Line, which has been extended to Astorekith station. A second station also opened within the Town of Astorekith, which is Astorekith South, on Domolas Branch Line. There is also a third station on Domolas Branch Line: Lothaudith, which is located between Grirecien Bridge and the Town of Astorekith.

The first mall in Republic of Domolas is built, and the subway station nearby has been renovated:
Left: The renovated Qedriwin station.
Right: Qedriwin Mall.
This is Qedriwin Mall, which is built next to Qedriwin station. Only the mainframe structure of the first part is built, and the second part will be built only after I get the villager vendors working. Qedriwin Mall also has the first elevator in Republic of Domolas!

[Coming Soon] Qedriwin Mall

The first mall in Republic of Domolas is coming in the next update, which is this Sunday! Qedriwin Mall is built next to Qedriwin station, which will be renovated. There is a bridge between the the mall and the subway station. The first elevator in Republic of Domolas is also located in Qedriwin Mall. Here are photos of the mall and the new look of the subway station:
The mall is to the right, and the station is to the left.

The elevator in the mall.

The mall viewed from behind.

The renovated station.
Unfortunately, only the mainframe structure of the first part will be available in the next update, and there is a part of the mall that is only going to be built after the completion of the first part.

Stay tuned for the next update, which will be on this Sunday!

P. S. School is out! Have fun!

[Coming Soon] Line 2 Southward Extension & Redwood Taiga

Sorry for the late post because I was too busy working on the map, since the next update will be a big one compared to all the previous updates. Even though it's a big update, I would like to show you one of the most notable features: extending Line 2 southward for 2 kilometers. This is the final extension for Line 2 until about half a year later. The line is now 4.6 kilometers and 13 stations long, and a tour of the line will be made shortly before the release of the next update.

Most of the extension is above ground, with the midpoint of the tracks at X=0. The new tracks and all 4 of the new stations on the line are built in a newly developed style that you may have seen in my map before. 3 of them are built in the somewhat rare "Redwood Taiga" (actually called "Giant Tree Taiga" ingame) biome.

Here is a picture of the extension:

If the image looks weird, it's because it was combined from four individual Mineways screenshots.

Also, the new part of the line uses a datapack that can make minecarts go fast. This datapack will be replaced by my Lightning Dash technology when it's available.

Stay tuned for the next update!

(06-16-2019) New update on my map!

My map has been updated again, and here's the new subway map:
As you can see, Line 2 and Domolas Branch Line have been extended to Sedribwyn Plateau and Bedrildan, respectively. Both of the new terminal stations are built in a newly developed building style, which will become the primary building style of my map in the future. Sedribwyn Plateau is the first station to use platform gates. (They're currently buggy, but the issue will be fixed in the next update.) Here is a screenshot of Sedribwyn Plateau station:
There is also a new road connecting the Tigoth and Windfall regions, and it's called the Grareven Highway. One of the first two suspension bridges on this map is on the Grareven Highway!

The western section of the road.
The eastern section of the road.

There is also a new region called the Baubard Region, and its name was decided by my classmates in a vote out of 8 candidates. You can access it by heading east from the Town of Yareviel, or by heading east (or south according to some people) on Ererralith Street!

[Coming Soon] Grareven Highway

There will be another long road in the next update! Grareven Highway connects the vastly different regions of Tigoth and Windfall, running mostly in a mountains biome. Here is a map of the road:
The west portion of the road.
The east portion of the road.

Since it's a long road, the map has to be split in two. This road is the first road that passes under a natural overhang. It also has one of the first two suspension bridges, both coming in the next update. It also gives access by road to the Heisei and Reiwa stations, which you can only access by subway currently. The road goes from Tigoth Street, near Tigoth station, to Olilind Avenue, which leads to the new portion of Line 2. I will show you some landscapes around Grareven Highway:

The portion in the eastern desert.

The area near Windfall Valley station.

Between Heisei and Windfall Valley.
Viewed from atop the Line 2 tracks, which already exist.

The bridge just west of Heisei.
This bridge is about 100 meters long.

The pass under the natural overhang.
This is next to the border between the Tigoth and Windfall regions.

Near Astiraria Way. Grareven Highway is the road on the right.

The suspension bridge.
That's not all. The rest is for you to explore!
Stay tuned for the next update, which will be out this Sunday!

[Coming Soon] Sedribwyn Plateau Station

This highly anticipated station is finally coming to Republic of Domolas! Located in the northern badlands region, Sedribwyn Plateau will be the northbound terminal of Line 2 for about half a year. This station is also the first station built in a newly developed building style, which you can already see around Yareviel on the other side of Line 2. Sedribwyn Plateau is also the first station to use platform gates. My apologies that they are somewhat buggy, but it will eventually be fixed.

As you can see, there are 3 floors, with the top floor being the floor with platforms. There are 2 island platforms next to each other, but only one is in service. And out of that one, only a single side of it is in service.

(06-02-2019) Another Republic of Domolas update

There's another Republic of Domolas update! In this update, you can find a lot more buildings and a newly developed town!

Here is the new subway map:

The first branch line, Domolas Branch Line, has been built, and Line 2 has been extended southward. Let's take a look at Domolas Branch Line:

2 of the stations on this new line are new, one of which is the first walking transfer, indicated by a black line. Since it is a branch line, it is relatively short, but it is planned to be extended in the next few updates. If you don't know, this line was actually built within a single day!

One of the new features in this update is villager shops. They were first tested in the Domolas Experimental Store, across the street from the Domolas subway station. There are also villager shops in the newly built Town of Yareviel, which we'll look at next.

These are screenshots of the town from different angles. The buildings include houses, shops, a subway station, and a Hotel, which is not currently open.

The first ever LRT line is in the Town of Yareviel. It takes you through the town and has 3 stations. One of them is close to the subway station.

The subway station serves Line 2, which is extended south to the first stations in the southern hemisphere, one of which is Yareviel. Unfortunately, there are no pictures of the Line 2 extension, so you'll have to see it for yourself!
