(09-06-2020) The Airport, a new province, as well as a lot more stuff!

 Republic of Domolas is now updated again! Here are the new subway maps:

So, let's see what is new in this update. First, there is a new airport in Republic of Domolas! Domolas International Airport is located in southwestern Domolas Province, close to Mavromichalis Province, and can be accessed via Subway Line 4, Mabromiğałska Traca 1, or Mavromichalis Street.

Also on Subway Line 4 between its former terminal of Etheidus and the Airport is Celibeth station, and also at Celibeth station is a new branch line, Faesien Branch Line. It goes from Celibeth, the transfer station with Subway Line 4, to a shattered savanna biome.

Another subway extension on Domolas Metro is the Subway Line 1 westward extension, which is not entirely in Domolas Province. It's not in the Kayke or Mavromichalis provinces, either. In fact, it is located in Wynford Province, a new province added in this update. But the extension is only 1 station long because it enters a new province, so instead, it interlines with Wynford Subway Line 1 (Line W1), the first subway line of the new province.

New subway lines and extensions are also added in Kayke and Mavromichalis provinces. In Mavromichalis Province, Mabromiğałska Traca 4 (Line M4) and Vetva Zatokna are new. Line M4 runs between Dovolenóv on Line M2 and Green (Zjelennik) on a new part of Line M3. Vetva Zatokna, the first branch line in Mavromichalis, runs between Mavromichalis Central (Mabromiğałskij Centrum) on Line M1 and M2 and Záhodnostrzóvska on another new part of Line M3. In fact, Line M3 is extended east and west in this update, and it applies for Line M1 as well.

And in Kayke Province, Line K3, K4, and K5 are all being extended, K3 and K4 being extended north, and K5 being extended east. Many of the new additions to the street system are also in Kayke Province, and on the new streets are some new landmarks, such as Xanthe Drawbridge, Daniel's Strait Bridge, and Block 27.

(07-05-2020) A total reset of the Nether, plus new subway extensions, streets, and more!

Republic of Domolas has been updated again! Here are the new subway maps:

(unfortunately, Windfall Trams is not getting a new subway map this time.)

Now, let's look at some new features in this update of Republic of Domolas!

First, the Nether has been completely reset and rebuilt, and now you can go there from more locations! Nether Line N1 is still here, but it has been completely rebuilt (and now also goes to new locations), and its departure song has changed. And there's a new line, Nether Line N2, which also goes to new Nether locations.

There are also some subway extensions back in the Overworld that I would like to showcase. Among these are the Subway Line 2B northward extension and Subway Line 4 southward extension.

Subway Line 2B received its final northward extension to Rigohar, which is also accessible via the Nether. Subway Line 4 is extended south to Etheidus station, and it will be extended further south soon.

And in the Kayke and Mavromichalis provinces, new subway lines have been added. In Kayke Province is Kayke Line K5, which interlines with Subway Line 1 at Abalebwyn and goes east to Diamond City. In Mavromichalis Province, Mabromiğałska Traca 3 has been added, which goes from Astelikin to a new transfer station in the east called Magenta (or Fioletovnik in the native language).

And in all 3 provinces, the road system has expanded. In Domolas Province, new streets have been built in the snowy tundra area, Rhalitrem Region, and other areas including areas near Uliend, where the second drawbridge in Republic of Domolas has been built.

In Kayke Province, new streets have been built around the junglem including the first 5 ford crossings in Republic of Domolas. In Mavromichalis Province, the new streets follow Mabromiğałska Traca 1 west of Rožińcka, and Mabromiğałska Traca 2 south of Mavromichalis station, which has now been renamed to Mavromichalis Central.

Also, the first shop in Mavromichalis Province has been built, as well as the first shop in the Nether. But as always, there's going to be more things in this update that I didn't mention here, so go ahead and check out the map on PlanetMinecraft!

(05-03-2020) Express Line X1, Stronghold, New Freeways, and more!

Republic of Domolas has been updated again! Here is the new subway map... Wait, it has been split? Yes, now there are 4 subway maps, corresponding to the 4 subway operators in Republic of Domolas.

Now, unlike with the "incomplete" subway map of the previous release, you can see the subway system in full again! You'll just need a little imagination.

But, with that out of the way, here are some of the new stuff in this update.

First of all, there is a new EXPRESS subway line. It's called Express Line X1, and it serves the stations of Miraywen Center, Nydigorith, and Trelalle. It has a maximum speed of about 170 km/h.

In the northwest of the map, a stronghold has been discovered, and you can now access the End! The stronghold is located off a new northern extension of Thekor Avenue. It's located quite far from any subway station (850 m from Thekor, the nearest station), but it's worth the long walk to get to the End! (Quick note: In the future, there might be landmarks in Republic of Domolas that are even further away from a station.)

And what's north of Highway 401? Well, there are now two branches of Highway 401 north of Sedribwyn Plateau! Highway 401A goes to Prirath, and Highway 401B goes to Icefire Lake.

And don't forget the subway extensions! The two spurs of Subway Line 2 have been extended northward to brand new locations. Subway Line 2A has been extended to the future site of an university on the other side of the jungle, and Subway Line 2B has been extended deeper into the snowy tundra. 

However, on the other side of Subway Line 2, in the south, service has been reduced back to Astelikin. Don't be disappointed over that, because further south in Mavromichalis Province, some new subway extensions have been made, and there is a new line: Mabromiğałska Traca 2, or Line M2. Part of it is what used to be part of Subway Line 2, and just like before, you can ride between it and Subway Line 2. Also, the named street system had also expanded into Mavromichalis Province.

And in his own province, Kayke has been doing a lot of great work. He has expanded his road system, built new subway lines Line K3 and Line K4, and also the Terra Point Shuttle back in the Sedribwyn region of Domolas Province.

(04-10-2020) Republic of Domolas's first anniversary!

Today is Republic of Domolas's first anniversary! To celebrate this event, I have compiled a video tour of the map that showcases most of it (when the video was filmed), including upcoming builds, and created a monument near Grirecien station. I've also created a Republic of Domolas background, and revamped the theme of this blog.

On April 10, 2019, Republic of Domolas was created, with inspiration from works such as RoFT and Newisle. In the first year, the map had grown to what it is now, with extensive systems of subway lines and named streets, a system of municipalities, regions, and provinces, a freeway traversed by horses, a functional banking system, and much more!

(03-01-2020) The first update in the year 2020!

The first update of this map in 2020 is here! Here is the new subway map:

There's a lot that has changed. The first thing that has changed is that there is a new division above the regional level. The new division is called a province, and there are 3 of them in this update. The first province, Domolas Province, contains everything built in 2019. But there is also some new stuff in Domolas Province. The two spurs of Subway Line 2, Line 2A and Line 2B, have both been extended north to new biomes: Line 2A to the jungle, and Line 2B to the snowy tundra.

Also in Domolas Province is the northern extension of Subway Line 4, which is partially built by a new map partner, DilliePlays, and the western extension of Subway Line 1. Lots of new streets have also been built in many regions (some of which are new) of Domolas Province.

Moving on to Mavromichalis Province, which is to the south of Astelikin. One of the quirks about this province is that it has its own language, which is based on Polish and Czech. Subway Line 2 has been extended there, and there is also a new subway line in this province, Mabromiğałska Traca 1. There isn't much else in Mavromichalis Province, except for a new house, because it is newly built.

And Kayke Province, to the east of Windfall Region, contains many streets and the majority of 2 subway lines built by our map partner Kayke. The subway lines are Line K1, which has been extended, and Line K2, a new subway line. Kayke Province doesn't have many other buildings yet, since it is also newly built.

(11-24-2019) First teamwork version of Republic of Domolas!

After 2 months of hard work, the first teamwork version of Republic of Domolas is released! Here's the new subway map:

There are many new subway lines and extensions in this update. New lines include Subway Line 4, Windfall Branch Line, and even a subway line in the Nether!

There are also many new buildings and roads. A lot of buildings have been built near spawn, including Domolas High School, Domolas Observation Tower, and a few houses. To keep track of the buildings, a system of addresses have been added and is in use in Domolas Center Municipality (the area near spawn).

Nearby, Oatboi, one of the 2 partners that joined the team between September and November 2019, has built 3 buildings. They can be found near Bedrildan station.

And speaking of map partners, Kayke, the other partner that joined during that time period, built a new subway line, Line K1. Screenshots are not available for Line K1.
